We have all heard about White Sage smudging and I often wondered if it really worked and how to use it.
Now you are most likely wondering why am I telling you about it? I guess because I am excited about it, that’s why.
A good friend who has the most amazing crystal store introduced me to the correct way on how to use White Sage and I have been using it ever since and it creates in me a wonderful sense of calm in what has been a very stressful time in my life.
By the way, if you love crystals and want to learn more about gemstones, metaphysics and Feng Shui I highly recommend you visit Mira’s website. No, I have no financial benefit for recommending Mira but honestly she's the best. She has so much knowledge I just want to share it with the world. She has great products and the service she provides is awesome.
Salvia apiana is the correct scientific name for White Sage. It is a native shrub and commonly referred to as White Sage, sacred or bee sage and has been used for hundreds of years by Native Americans.
White Sage is hailed as the cleanser of all negativity. Be it in our homes, our items or even ourselves. The experience is subtle at first, then over the next few weeks you suddenly realize how your home and surrounds feel calmer and what once stressed you to the max, somehow seem to be easier to deal with.
Native Americans from long ago used this magical herb in their rituals to rid them of evil, sickness, anger and bad luck. They would dry the White Sage and the burn it to release its enriching smoke onto the member of their tribe that was struck down with these negativity traits.
Always remember that burning White Sage is a fire hazard and you need to have a few things to make it a beautiful and safe experience.
Now go smudge your home let me know how you feel.
Thanks for reading and let me know your experience when you try smudging. If you already use White Sage for smudging leave us a comment on your experience.
Cheers
